A real host setup covers HTTPS (SSL), a production environment that stays up, sensible performance defaults, and a path for deploys when something changes. For apps, you also care about databases, background jobs, and environment variables.

If nobody can restore yesterday’s site, you don’t have a real hosting plan. Backups, restore drills, and clear ownership of credentials matter more than a fancy control panel.
